Father John Edwards, S.J.—The Passing of a Great Man.
I just wanted to express my sorrow at the passing of a great man, Father John Edwards, S.J. Father John was a great friend of my Parish Priest who could probably do with a prayer or two today. Father John would always help out in our Parish at busy times and was regular in the confessional. He was dearly loved by everyone in Leigh-on-Sea and well known for being a wonderful confessor. Requiem æternam dona eis, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat eis. Te decet hymnus Deus, in Sion, et tibi reddetur votum in Ierusalem. Exaudi orationem meam; ad te omnis caro veniet. Requiem æternam dona eis, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat eis.
