Cardinal Müller Confronts Papal Authority & Critiques Church's Direction
Cardinal Gerhard Müller has given an interview with Infovaticana in which the former Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith reiterated once again that Pope Francis has no authority to change the teaching of the Church. Müller has taken a stand against Pope Francis a number of times before, most recently having expressed dismay at the Vatican’s silence on China’s abuses and Cardinal Zen’s “unfair” trial in Hong Kong . “There will be an unfair trial next month.
