Pope Francis words vs actions

Pope Francis has decried abortion and euthanasia, saying that today’s “throwaway culture” leads to the killing of children and discarding of the elderly. Which is awesome.

Giving a speech on Monday in which he said that today’s “throwaway culture” leads to the killing of children and discarding of the elderly, the Pope strongly defended Catholic teaching on the fundamental and essential dignity of every human person from conception to natural death:
“There is the discarding of children that we do not want to welcome with the law of abortion that sends them to the dispatcher and kills them directly. And today this has become a ‘normal’ method, a practice that is very ugly. It is really murder,”
The speech marked the second time this month that Pope Francis has spoken out strongly about abortion. During a press conference on his return flight from Slovakia on Sept. 15, the pope repeatedly said that “abortion is murder” and compared the acceptance of abortion to “accepting daily murder.”

However he then went on to say that despite a politician openly supporting abortion, he would not deny anyone Holy Communion (contra canon law).

Last Friday he met the President of Ireland, a man who recently signed the abortion bill into law in Ireland.

During the formal audience the Pope said of Mr Higgins:
“Today I did not just meet a man, a President, I met a wise man of today. I thank God that Ireland has such a wise man as its head [of State].”

Despite his forceful words, Pope Francis does like to make friends of the world's most prolific abortionists which makes me scratch my head somewhat.

Bizarrely he has praised Italian Politico Emma Bonino who is directly or indirectly responsible for the deaths of roughly six million Italian babies between 1968 and today.

The Pope also congratulated UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres Guterres for “all the efforts he has made for peace." Guterres has used the COVID-19 crisis as a means to promote access to abortion worldwide.

The pope has appointed and elevated bishops and cardinals who are hostile to the pro-life issue, while also demoting decidedly pro-life prelates. And he has tried to put immigration on par with abortion.

Pope Francis was silent in the long battle leading up to Ireland’s referendum in May of this year where citizens there voted to legalize abortion in the heretofore predominantly Catholic country.
Pope Francis has also made the Dutch politician and extreme abortion activist Elisabeth Maria Josepha “Lilianne” Ploumen a knight in the Pontifical Equestrian Order of St. Gregory the Great.

That's not even to mention the extraordinary damage he continues to do to the JP II Institute for Marriage & Family Life, which increasingly appears to be the Institute AGAINST Marriage & Family Life!

As usual with the Pope of Confusion, words and actions do not match up! As usual it's "signal left, turn right".

Here Taylor Marshal talks about the Irish President:
