SYNODALITY

Image
So the Youth Synod is finally over (thank God). It is already widely being dubbed "The Smuggler Synod" The smuggling began in the Synod’s preparatory phase. A “pre-Synod” meeting of young people in March 2018 was thoroughly rigged, according to the accounts of some brave souls who were there because the Synod managers either misidentified them or wanted them as cover. Working sessions were conducted long into the night, the goal being to get inserted into the meeting’s final document a number of progressive Catholic approaches to human sexuality. One discussion group leader banned an opening prayer before the group’s meetings – what had been proposed was a joint recitation of the Lord’s Prayer, the Hail Mary, and the Doxology – saying that this might make the non-Catholics present uncomfortable. The Synod managers and the new Dicastery for Laity, Family, and Life trumpeted this meeting as a great advance in “listening;” it was an exercise in manipulation and spin. An...

A Call for Unity!

Image
I have watched this about three times now. I think it is a very articulate, balanced and intelligent appraisal of the current situation. It speaks FOR the dignity of the office of the Pope. FOR respect for the person of the Pope. FOR prayer, FOR unity and a call to fight for our Church! We have seen increasing divisions and this is not of Christ. I think the reason for the division is the obfuscation of the face of Christ by Pope Francis. The Pope clouds the truth, fails to give clear answers to any questions and challenges the long-held understanding of the Gospel held and taught by the Catholic Church, and indeed all Christians! In the face of such demonic assault, we see nothing but toadying and sycophancy from all but a very few shepherds.

C9 Cardinal: Final Synod Document Contains Language Riddled with Agenda!

Image
Pope Francis shares a word with Bishop Bruno Forte, Cardinal Oswald Gracias and Bishop Frangiskos Papamanolis (AP Photo/Alessandra Tarantino) Oh look! What a surprise! The final document of the 2018 Synod of Bishops contains language about “sexual orientation” “synodality” and “discernment” that doesn’t result from input from participants in the synod hall! Asked who was responsible for inserting such language, Cardinal Oswald Gracias of Mumbai, India, speculated it was the officials charged by Francis with overseeing synod operations, beginning with Italian Cardinal Lorenzo ( the book thief ) Baldifacedliar Baldisseri, the man who lied about the inclusion of the secular (and heretical) terminology "LGBT"'s inclusion in the Instrumentum Laboris (the working document of the synod). Speaking to Crux , Gracias said that when the bishops inside the synod received the draft, umbrage was voiced over the new language. “There was some resistance when it was publicise...

The Point of the Synod: Normalisation of Homosexuality or New Church Model?

Image
The baldness with which the homosexual agenda is being pushed at this synod is utterly shocking! The fact that this is being done in the shadow of revelations about sexual abuse which demonstrated over 80% of victims were young post-pubescent boys is demonic! In case you think this is pure fantasy perhaps imagined by some overly active homophobic mind, let me remind you of the third testimony from Archbishop Viganò : On June 23, 2013, I met Pope Francis face-to-face in his apartment to ask for clarification, and the Pope asked me, “il cardinale McCarrick, com’è (Cardinal McCarrick — what do you make of him)?”– which I can only interpret as a feigning of curiosity in order to discover whether or not I was an ally of McCarrick. I told him that McCarrick had sexually corrupted generations of priests and seminarians, and had been ordered by Pope Benedict to confine himself to a life of prayer and penance. • Instead, McCarrick continued to enjoy the special regard of Pope Franci...

Synod 2018: Catholic Church Abandoning Faith

Image
Cartoon from Gloria.tv I don't know about you, but I have been following goings on at the Synod on Youth with growing sense of dismay. It seems extraordinary that, following the Synod on the Family, which the Vatican used to talk about Gay Families, we now need a Synod on the Youth where the main talking point appears to be Gay Youth. I'm starting to feel like we could have a Synod on Basket Weaving, and the Vatican would be talking about Gay Basket Weavers! The stage was set at the last Synod when Fr. Thomas Rosica, papal spokesman and head of Canada's Salt + Light TV was shown to be given a very skewed view of what was being discussed by the Synod Fathers: Church Militant covered the strange events at the time and it seemed directly at odds with the stated purpose and agenda of the Synod, however, in the light of more recent goings on , it makes a lot more sense! Of course, the main talking point of that Synod, driven by Pope Francis himself, was Holy Communi...

Pope Francis: God wants me to change the Church

Image
In private meeting with Jesuits on his recent trip to the Baltics, Pope Francis said: "I believe the Lord wants a change in the Church. I know that the Lord wants the [Second Vatican] Council to make headway in the Church" The assertion from Pope Francis comes in a transcript by fellow Jesuit, legendary Papal tailgater & anti-intellectual Antonio Spadaro in the magazine he is editor for. You can read the whole thing here , but I would warn you, it is very boring, and consists largely of Pope Francis' usual meaningless banal mutterings. It does start with this weirdness: Thank you for the visit! I’m reminded of the saying Si cum Iesuitis itis, non cum Iesu itis … (If you go with the Jesuits, you won’t go with Jesus…) [here they all laugh]. Obviously I was immediately reminded of his quip that he is the devil compared with Pope St. John Paul II. Personally, given what a nightmare he is as a pope, I don't find his attempts at self-deprecating humour ter...

Archbishop Viganò responds to Cardinal Ouellet

Image
Marco Tosatti carries a new letter from Archbishop Viganò today.  The letter addresses all of Ouellet's points and directly refutes his claim that there were no official sanctions on Cardinal McCarrick: There is one point on which I must absolutely refute what Cardinal Ouellet wrote. The Cardinal states that the Holy See was only aware of “rumors,” which were not enough to justify disciplinary measures against McCarrick. I affirm to the contrary that the Holy See was aware of a variety of concrete facts, and is in possession of documentary proof, and that the responsible persons nevertheless chose not to intervene or were prevented from doing so. Compensation by the Archdiocese of Newark and the Diocese of Metuchen to the victims of McCarrick’s sexual abuse, the letters of Fr. Ramsey, of the nuncios Montalvo in 2000 and Sambi in 2006, of Dr. Sipe in 2008, my two notes to the superiors of the Secretariat of State who described in detail the concrete allegations against McC...

Confirmation the Synod is Rigged

Image
Pope Francis waves as he is welcomed by Cardinal Lorenzo Baldisseri, left, General Secretary of the Synod of Bishops as he arrives at the Synod Hall for a morning session of the Synod of bishops at the Vatican, Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018. The meeting of bishops on young people runs from Oct. 3-28. (Credit: AP Photo/Alessandra Tarantino.) Crux has learned that a preliminary version of that final document has been prepared and given to members of a drafting committee selected last week, with five members elected by the synod, two sitting on the body ex ufficio , and three appointed by the pope. Though it’s not clear who wrote the preliminary version, it was presented to the drafting committee by the synod office headed by Italian Cardinal Lorenzo Baldisseri (aka " the book thief ", you know, the Cardinal who lied about young people wanting LGBT in the instrumentum laboris ). When Crux -- who tend to be largely ambivalent to the shock waves caused by this papacy -- start su...

Rainbow Crosses?

Image
'No one in the Vatican wears a badge saying, "I am gay"'. Just because pratically every appointment I have made, just because the Synod seems to promote 'gay' issues, just because my PR men promote 'gay', it means nothing, No dots to join ... pic.twitter.com/81hMuR4FYH — Monsignor Ferrari (@ServizioVatican) October 17, 2018 Part of me is saying that this is a kind of a trap, but it is worth noting anyway, I'll tell you why. I'm being told this represents something called the Cursillo Apostolate   (never heard of that before). The Vatican are saying it's the cross of World Youth Day and the colours symbolise the different countries? 🌈 cross worn by Pope: Green for Mexico and C. America Yellow for Caribbean Red for Andes region Blue for Southern Cone region 🌈 https://t.co/AmjA7vYeVD — Jason Calvi (@JasonCalvi) October 17, 2018 A friend said today that the colours are not in the correct order for the gay rainbow and that it...

The response of youth to the "youth" synod? Largely horror.

Image
This is really brilliant and cuts through the despicable synod double-speak beautifully with clear Catholic truth! I hope it was read out to the whole assembly? But as Baldesseri controls everything it would seem very unlikely. Might I recommend therefore, we make as much of it as possible in an attempt to make them hear the true voice of Catholic Youth? Edward Pentin reports  Australian youth have written a letter to the Synod, which criticises substituting the truth for policy-speak and calls out senior prelates who deliberately use ambiguous language in the face of Christ’s teachings. In an Oct. 12 letter addressed to the Synod Fathers and all the assembly's participants (see full text in Pentin's report here ), 217 Australian university students and young professionals stress that young people “do not want to shape the Church before the Church can form us,” and that they are yearning for a “reliable moral compass.” “The world is confused,” they write, “and in this...

This is what happens to "disturbers of the [false] peace"

Image
Father David Marsden, a Priest who formerly tutored at Oscott College, considered by many to be the best seminary in England and Wales, has broken ranks and blown the whistle on the gay subculture in the institution. In an open letter to the bishops of England, Wales and Scotland published on the Church Militant web site, Father Marsden explains that he has been sacked from the seminary for sticking to the Magisterium: I was fired from the college for striving to uphold the Church's teaching on homosexuality which is a grave injustice to me personally. It is extraordinary to think that I was asked by the rector to make a public oath of fidelity to the Magisterium of the Church at the beginning of the academic year. It is my fidelity to that oath that has cost me my job and deprived the seminarians of the only qualified formator in the seminary. The Congregation for Catholic Education formally states that : this Dicastery, in accord with the Congregation for Divin...

Leading Pro-Life Campaigner: Synod political mess of leftist talking points

Catholics get it I don’t understand why we are having this Youth Synod. I mean, if anyone wanted to hear all these leftist talking points, they would find a political party not the Church that has raised and formed saints for centuries. This is ridiculous!!! https://t.co/FaW6hqdCT3 — Obianuju Ekeocha (@obianuju) October 16, 2018 Honestly this Synod is a complete joke, I am disgusted by it, I think any bishop with any love of the Church should just walk out! So let me try to understand: The Synod is listening to the (uniformed) opinions of "non-Christian youth" so that Catholic leaders can consider adjusting teaching and practice? What other communion attempts such a thing? Do Muslims invite bishops in to help rewrite their teaching? https://t.co/h2r6THa8aR — Raymond Arroyo (@RaymondArroyo) October 15, 2018 There's no reference to Christ, or the Gospel, or anything like that. There's just a constant diatribe of ideological propaganda: Fr. Arturo Sosa SJ...
