A common theme: those seeking to curb the Latin Mass always seem to be involved in all kinds of pagan promotion

Eamon Martin KC*HS (born 30 October 1961) is an Irish prelate of the Catholic Church who has been Archbishop of Armagh and the Primate of All Ireland since 2014.

The above is a recording of his Midnight Mass 24th December 2021 broadcast into every home in Ireland.

If you are wondering why there are no vocations in Ireland, look no further than this. Can you honestly say this is a religion that can be taken seriously? It is the Irish Church’s failures which have caused people to pick secularism over faith and this shows why. Irish Catholic Church has been decimated and will close 1200 churches over the next 30 years.

With the Vatican issuing clamp downs on the faithful who value reverence and orthodoxy, this is what the Primate of all Ireland gives us on Christmas Eve.

In 1975, the Vatican’s Congregation for the Sacraments and Divine Worship issued Dance in the Liturgy, which it declared is to be treated as “an authoritative point of reference for every discussion on the matter.”

It noted that dance...
"...cannot be introduced into liturgical celebrations of any kind whatever: That would be to inject into the liturgy one of the most desacralized and desacralizing elements, and so it would be equivalent to creating an atmosphere of profaneness which would easily recall to those present and to the participants in the celebration worldly places and situations."
As recently discussed, prelates are concerned that young people are alienated from the Church and have fled to the Latin Mass.

Can anyone question why when the Primate of all Ireland thinks this is acceptable liturgy? It seems so many leaders in the Church need to do some revision on the basics.
"It is totally absurd to try to make the liturgy "attractive" by introducing dancing pantomimes... Could there be anything farther removed from true penitence?"
(Ratzinger, Spirit of the Liturgy, pp. 198-199)
Cardinal Arinze: "people discussing liturgical dance should spend that time praying the rosary"

Further evidence of the strange ideas of some of these leaders of the Church is evidenced by the Cardinal Archbishop of Chicago, the old friend of McCarrick: Blaise Cupich.
Former Apostolic Nuncio to the USA, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò claimed Cupich was part of a group of influence groomed and promoted by Theodore McCarrick in his first testimony:

To be honest, this is not any sort of surprise, Cupich's pedigree is writ large. As bishop of Rapid City Cupich banned children from receiving their first Holy Communion in the Tridentine Mass or being Confirmed in the Traditional Rite. In 2002 he prohibited a TLM community from celebrating the Paschal Triduum liturgies according to the 1962 form of the Roman Rite.

Throughout his career Cupich has argued against sanctions around abortion always in the terms of "dialogue" "civility" and "clarity" (something you only seem to get from these men on issues which seek to overturn settled Church teaching. His constant efforts to deflect the Church from teaching on life issues was probably most clearly articulated at the USCCB meeting in 2019. Cupich wanted the insertion of a long paragraph into the text which he suggested would "contextualize" the Church’s position on life issues, and especially the teaching of Pope Francis. The committee considering the amendments, led by the USCCB president-elect Archbishop Jose Gomez of Los Angeles, agreed to include an abbreviated version of Cupich’s paragraph, including language insisting that the “firm and passionate” defense of the unborn should be matched with support for the “equally sacred” lives of the poor, inform, elderly, and marginalized.

Cupich argued that his proposed wording was necessary, even if it was longer, in order properly to represent the full concerns of the Pope. Interesting that Cupich saw himself as some kind of voice piece of Pope Francis there.

Cupich isn't against condemning some sins though. In 2008, shortly before the Presidential Elections, he wrote an essay on the evil of racism published in America Magazine.

In 2011, Cupich discouraged priests and seminarians in his diocese from participating in demonstrations in front of Planned Parenthood clinics or supporting 40 Days for Life, a pro-life movement that conducts vigils at facilities that offered abortion services.

In April 2012, Cupich supported the decision of Gonzaga University to invite Anglican Archbishop Desmond Tutu to speak at its graduation ceremonies and receive an honorary degree, against which the Cardinal Newman Society and others active in the pro-life movement were protesting.

You have to admit he goes out of his way to argue against support for pro-life issues.

Rorate Caeli reports on a new set of draconian restrictions just issued by this Protégé of McCarrick and Pope Francis fanboy:

"the Chicago policy (the full text may be found here, courtesy of Fr. Zuhlsdorf) was issued only two days after Christmas, and only nine days after the CDW Responsa. It seems fairly clear that the course of action was determined well in advance, and perhaps even that Cupich himself helped to shape the CDW document, since it’s clear he has a special Vatican connection. For what really grabs one’s attention is the simple fact of this article appearing at Vatican News. Since when do the local directives of individual dioceses/bishops get coverage in the Vatican’s press organ? This isn’t just because Blaise Cupich is currently a favorite among the proponents of Bergoglianity in Rome (though he surely is). Rather, this article is a signal: the Vatican is telling the bishops what it approves of and expects from them. This is like Pravda and Izvestyia in the old Soviet Union: the Politburo signals to all the party hacks what the approved policy will be, and what the propaganda line will be.

We are no longer governed by shepherds. We are ruled by apparatchiks of the Party Line."

This reminds me of numerous other instances in this papacy: the Argentinian & Maltese guidelines on Amoris Laetitia for example. The Pope refused to speak clearly on the issue and instead endorsed other bishops' interpretations of his writing.

You have to admit that as far as Cardinal Cupich is concerned, pretty much anything goes, as long as it isn't Catholic!

In fact, as reported here, Cupich goes out of his way to preside over liturgical abuses and incorporates pagan elements from Taoism and Hinduism into the Holy Eucharist.

In fact, Twitter has been alight with examples of liturgical abuse in Chicago:

Much like Ireland, Chicago has a dwindling Mass attendance and suffers from many other problems, like a high murder rate. It makes sense then that Cardinal Cupich is laser focused on curtailing the rights of Traditional Latin Mass attendees.
