Bergoglio's Cat

Image
Life-size cat figure in the garden of Huttenstrasse 9, Zurich, where Erwin Schrödinger lived 1921–1926. Depending on the light conditions, the cat appears either alive or dead. Schrödinger's famous thought experiment poses the question, " when does a quantum system stop existing as a superposition of states and become one or the other? " Schrödinger wanted people to imagine that a cat, poison, a geiger counter, radioactive material, and a hammer were inside of a sealed container. The amount of radioactive material was minuscule enough that it only had a 50/50 shot of being detected over the course of an hour. If the geiger counter detected radiation, the hammer would smash the poison, killing the cat. Until someone opened the container and observed the system, it was impossible to predict if the cat’s outcome. Thus, until the system collapsed into one configuration, the cat would exist in some superposition zombie state of being both alive and dead. Of course, S...

Querida Amazonia -- Good News!!

Image
This morning I feel happier about the Church than I have done for some time. The unlikely reason is that Pope Francis has released his new Apostolic Exhortation Querida Amazonia  ( read the full text here ) and it is good!! 1. It is short - the shortest document released by this pope at 33 pages divided into 4 chapters named after dreams; A Social Dream , A Cultural Dream , An Ecological Dream , An Ecclesial Dream . 2. Pope Francis does not mention Pachamama directly, but does further attempt to justify the awful episode in paragraph 79: 3. Despite calls from the synod fathers for women deacons, Pope Francis denounces those who push for female ordination, saying "it would lead us to "clericalize" women, diminish the great value of what they have already accomplished, and subtly make their indispensable contribution less effective." 4. Pope Francis addresses the issues of the Priesthood & the Eucharist in paragraphs 82 - 98. I can discern...

Synod: A Call to Coversion (...to integral ecology)

Image
I'm afraid I'm still catching up from the weekend, and boy - has a lot of stuff happened since Friday! One quick observation I needed to write down was prompted by the 'unanimous call of the synod groups for the conversion of Catholics to "integral ecology".' Synod groups unanimously call for church defense of rights, culture & territory of indigenous people; conversion of all Catholics to "integral ecology" that respects the Earth & the dignity of the people who live on it. — Cindy Wooden (@Cindy_Wooden) October 18, 2019 This extraordinary claim comes as one of the leading synod fathers from the Amazon says he has never baptised a single indigenous person and never will! One has to wonder what exactly he is doing down there! It increasingly appears that the purpose of the synod is to convert Catholics to...whatever it is they do down there, rather than to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with them! Interestingly, this rep...

Unbelievable! Vatican CONFIRMS Idol Worship

Image
After days of prevarication it has finally been made clear that the Pope allowed pagan worship in the Vatican and Catholics (even Franciscans) took part. This is wrong. Do Bishops not care? If they take their vocations at all seriously, something needs to happen now . Remember, this is the Pope who moved the papal Corpus Christi procession out of Rome, but allows idol worship in the Vatican. Syncretism is deeply and inextricably Masonic. If anyone is wondering. — Ed. Condon (@canonlawyered) October 16, 2019 CNA reports : Fr. Giacomo Costa, a communications official for the Amazon synod, said Wednesday a wooden figure of a nude pregnant woman, which has been present at events related to the synod, is not the Virgin Mary, but is instead a female figure representing life. “It is not the Virgin Mary, who said it is the Virgin Mary?” Costa said Oct. 16 at a press conference for the Amazon synod, a meeting taking place in the Vatican Oct. 6-27 on the ministry of the Church in ...

A Huge Sign of Hope

Image
Despite all the madness in Rome at the moment, there is cause for hope. The evil men will not win and even as they are openly revelling in their victory, good Cardinals are gathering and supporting the flock. This is very heartening, please watch!

Amazon Bishop Kräutler: "I will not baptise"

"I have not yet baptized any Indian and I will not" - Bishop Erwin Kräutler. German theologian, Johannes Stöhr critiques +Kräutler's book "Have courage! Now change the world and the Church", says +Kräutler plays the Eucharist against sacramentality #SinodoAmazonico #AmazonSynod https://t.co/hTfZvI0jG3 — Catholic Sat (@CatholicSat) October 14, 2019 So the bishop at the Amazon Synod who is there to teach us all about evangelising the people rejects the great commission and the fundamental purpose of his whole mission. What is he doing down there? Being "nice" and "accompanying" everyone? Seriously, is this some sort of sick joke? No wonder 80% of the Amazon is Pentecostal. With bishops like this we kill the faith.

Cardinali: Amazonian Synod Challenges the Deposit of Faith

Image
Two Cardinals go public over Amazonian Synod problems, how many have the same misgivings but choose to keep them to themselves? CNA reports Cardinal Burke and Cardinal Brandmüller (pictured above) have sent letters to fellow members of the College of Cardinals, raising concerns about the working document for an upcoming synod of bishops on the pan-Amazonian region scheduled to take place in Rome, Oct. 6-27. This fact alone is scandalous in my opinion. That these two brave cardinali are isolated to this point is a grave scandal for the universal Church. It raises concerns about unity and a systematic rejection of doctrine by Pope Francis and his supporters which cannot go unchallenged. CNA report reports some of the content as follows: “Some points of the synod’s Instrumentum laboris seem not only in dissonance with respect to the authentic teaching of the Church, but even contrary to it,” Cardinal Walter Brandmüller wrote to fellow cardinals in an Aug. 28 letter obtained b...

Amazonian Synod Narrative is a Myth

Image
Stop the Amazon Mythos: Amazonians Are Little Interested In Marriage Or In Holy Mass Bishop Reinhold Nann, 59, of Caravelí Diocese, Peru, states that if he had more priests, he would have no way to organise a living for them based on the "meagre offerings" coming from the villages. Nann was born in Germany and belonged to the Schönstatt Movement. He told Die-Tagespost.de (August 29) that as a missionary priest he took care of an Amazon parish with 37 villages. The bishop witnessed that the Amazon people do not care to live according to Catholic morals. Therefore viri probati [married men who could be ordained as priests] hardly exist: “Men living in sacramental marriage are a rare species in a region where most of the laity lives together unmarried.” Nann also debunks the myth of an alleged "hunger" for the Eucharist:  “In the Amazon [as well as in most of the Catholic Church], the Eucharist is not really in demand by the locals. A liturgy of the word is for...
